How long can we keep a BAPI connection?

Hi,

My scenario is, I want to connect to WebMethods using BAPI.

Can I open a connection with WM and then keep it OPEN until some time for retrieving records from WM and then close the connection after retrieving the data?

Hi,

It depends on the sending system which is in RFC connection with SAP BAPI.

Just for rough idea you may assume it to be 15 mins.
