Hot Key in ALV

Hi Experts,

What is the meaning of Hot key in an alv report and how to make any field as hot key.

I have a requirement in which I have shipment no, delivery no and delivery items. I have to make the delivery number as hot key.

Please help me,

Hi,

Hot key are keys on which single click will give your the double click functionality....

To make any fields as hot key's modify the field catalogue of those with attribute hot_key = 'x'.

Hi,

Hot spot are used when you want to go to some another screen when clicked on that field.

u can assign it in fieldcatlog for that field.

fieldcatlog-key_hotspot = 'X'.
