FTP transfer in the background

Hi,

I have written a report what send some data to FTP server through function modules FTP_CONNECT and FTP_R3_TO_SERVER.

When a report is run in foreground or when user run report by menu command Program -> Execute in background everythink is OK and data are transfered to the FTP server.

When user create a job for program the job seems to run correct everything looks OK but data are not transfered to the FTP server.

Report use RFC connection to sapftp on application server.

Any help is appreciated.

hi...

now im facin te same problem..

i had used ftp FM`s in my progrm....

when i executed my program its working fine..

but when i had scheduled a job..

its not working .. and job status is shown as CANCELLED.

im using SAPFTP as rfc-destination.

help me..

Hi,

check you use a RFC connection what is using a SAPFTP program on Application Server. SAP delivers standard RFC connection for it SAPRFCA.
