Fieldcat-symbol is not exported from ALV to excel

Hi all,

Field EKPO-ELIKZ = ‘X’ is displayed in my ALV as symbol using the field catalog FIELDCAT-SYMBOL = ‘X’.

But while exporting from ALV to excel the field EKPO-ELIKZ is nil with no values in my spread sheet.
Kindly help me to over come this issue.
