Error new infotype 9810'Status INS of the user interfaces MP981000 missing'

Hello,

I have created a new infotype 9810 as a copy of the infotype 2010, when I try to create a new record via pa30 I get this error message:

Status INS of the user interface MP981000 missing

Message no. 00264

Diagnosis

The specified GUI status either does not exist or was not generated.

Procedure

Use the Menu Painter to check whether the status required actually exists. If it does, then generate the interface MP981000 (using the Menu Painter).

I can see the SAVE button is disabled.

Has anyone had the same problem again?

What can I do to solve the issue?

When you copy the infotype, you have to copy all the sub-objects as well; this would include the gui status.

But you should be able to copy it now (using SE80) with no problem.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for you answer, at the end I was available to solve the issue using the se41 transaction 'Menu Painter' and copy the menu and list status from the module pool of infotype 2010.
