"SAP Web Application Server" =< 6.30 (includes 4.7 EE, which had BSPs already)

was replaced by

"SAP NetWeaver" > 6.30 (adding Web Dynpro)

What is 6.30 ?

We have SAP 4.7

6.30 is the Basis/ABAP Version. 4.7 is the 'normal' version (they were the same until 4.6 (?), since that the Basis version is ahead

anyway, check System / Status ==> Component informations and you'll see what you have

6.30 is the version of WAS.

I have checked and we are using this

s/w component release level

SAP_BASIS 620 0064 SAP Basis Component

so, as Thomas (and me...) pointed already out, that is WAS

there is no 4.7C version of SAP. There are 4.6C and 4.7 (without any letter). I am sure that 4.6C is not WAS yet, while -as far as I remember- 4.7 is WAS already (but I check once more).
