Creation date of FI document

Dear All,

I am using the field BKPF-CPUDT to get the creation date of an FI document. But the user says that this is not correct. Is there any other way to find out the creation date of an FI document.

Thanks in advance for letting me know

Regards,

Suman

Hi

The field BKPF-CPUDT is the date when the document was really created in the system, but this date is not very important for accounting, so I suppose your user needs of the posting date (BKPF-BUDAT) or document date (BKPF-BLDAT).

Hi Max,

Thanks for your reply. The report I have created already have this data (budat and bldat). May be I will explain the scenario. Document is created in background by the user WF-BATCH (in workflows) on 30.11.2007. On this date this document is really created in the system in a parked state. Now the user changes the data and posts the document on 03.12.2007. In BKPF-CPUDT (date on which the document was entered) the date is 03.12.2007 instead of 30.11.2007.

So I need the actual creation date of the document in the system.
