Coverage Analyzer tool.

Hi ,

I don't know in which forum should I put this question.

Has anybody used Coverage Analyzer tool (scov) .

For what purpose is this used.

I tried to run this & do some settings etc.

But it made the system very slow . & i came to know through system admin.

Is there a possibility to make it enable only for some Z programs

for analysis.

Regards

Deepali

Hi lakshman & Mano.

Thanks , but using this site only did i try the settings

and was able to turn status of all of them to green.

But it was set for whole system & Administrator had to restart CRO(develpoment system).

If we can't use this for a z program or function , then it means this tool is of no use to developer .

& for system admin ???

Hello,

In settings i think you can set for a specific package.

By Default it would be $*.

Check this link :

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/events/sap-teched-... troubleshooting

and there are some more files in SDN.SAP.COM(use the search(much improved now)) for more information on Coverage Analyzer.

I know there is one on:

a) ABAP Troubleshooting

b) An Integrated Approach to Troubleshooting your ABAP programs

You might find it useful. To be frank, I don't think developers would ever be using SCOV.
