Change of date in infotype 589

Hi All,

I want to change the end date field of infotype 589 so can you please tell me how to do that because in pa30 that field can't be able to edit, only start date field is available to edit. Do i need to write update program for this ??

I dont think you can change end date field directly.

But if you create new record within that date range then automatically

the date gets delimited depending on time constraint settings of that infotype.

Hi,

You don't need a development for this. It can be enhanced/customized using PM01 tcode. Use Infotype Characteristics button and choose infotype "0589" there are customizing options to change behaviour of selection fields(So you can make this field editable if it is not a problem from functional perspective). If this don't solve your issue try to check other options in TCODE pm01.
