Call contained error(s): ADS (2) during adobe form printing in SAP NETWEAVER 7.8 trial windows !!!

Hi,

I installed SAP netweaver 7.8 developer trial in my system with ADOBE LIFECYCLE DESIGNER 10.4.

After executing the adobe form with print preview, I am getting error “Call contained error(s): ADS (2)”.

After searching in SAP community network, I found that there is something wrong with ADS configuration in my system. I tried many different methods like going to this URL “http://netweaver:50010/nwa“ ( to check ADS configuration ) but this page didn’t open.

Please suggest what I can do.

Version 7.8 ? (the last one I know is 7.51, and other existing ones can be 7.0, 7.02, 7.31, 7.40, 7.50, but not 7.8)

Are you sure that ADS is provided with trials?

Yes, As I just checked in installation file the actual version is 7.02. Now where can I get the ADS?

You should google "abap trial ads site:scn.sap.com" there are the same questions.

I will only comment on the URL part. The URL is wrong because the port no is incorrect. Find the system number of the Java stack and modify the HTTP port and correctly. See an example

To start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator, enter the following data in a Web browser: http://<host>:<port>/nwa, where:

● <host> is the host where the AS Java is installed.

● <port> is the HTTP port of the ICM. It consists of 5<Java_instance_number>00.

For example, if the instance number of the Java instance is 60, the HTTP port is 56000.

Check the below links for ADS config and also a note 944221 which has details on how you could troubleshoot

Check the config and see if the tests are ok and also try to activate a trace
