Although no users are logged on my SAP Systems, the Table Call Stat. grows?

Hello,

I have got an SAP System Release 4.6 C. On that system, I am the only user. If I take a look at the Table Call Statistics, it grows although no users are working or doing anything on the system. It seems as if the system is "alive". Presently I have not the opportunity to run a trace in order to see what's going on.

Can anybody describe in general waht happens in a Systems besides user activity?

Why is there any activity?

Are there any processes that always run in a system?

Thanks,

Holger

Hello,

there are some things which run without any user logged to R/3, e.g.:

- Background scheduling

- Transport system

- collectors of the performance database

You can see these things in ST03, looking for reocrds with users 'DDIC' and 'SAPSYS'.

Regards Wolfgang
