This always given in all the objects you create new in SAP.

The report line is the report name which will be used in sy-repid.

this is default generated by SAP.

Hi Niranjan,

Welcome to SDN.

Seemsyou are new to ABAP. Actually when you create a new program using SE38 automatically the coments are created. There is no manual interference here. It provides the info about the program name to any user who access the program at a later stage. It is not of any importance, and it can also be deleted anytime.

Hope this resolves your query.

The STANDARD program 'SAPLWBABAP' drives the entire creation process of a report. This program has the Statements to generate the Template that we see on the top of every report.

Hi Niranjan,

what ever we write anything on ABAP Editor , not only talking about SE38, we are familiar with preety printer. Even in some cases the system triggers this preety printer before u start writing ur code. Have u ever imagined that while calling Function Module in your program why it comes with that piculiar format? <b>The answer is here: Please go through the contents of the table TSE05</b>, and I am sure u will find your answer in it. If u are satisfied with this help, please provide some points.

With Regards,

Pulokesh.
