SAPCC 2.0 vs new version

Hello Experts,

Is there a documentation where I could refer the advantages of upgrading to SAPCC 3.0 or 4.0 from SAPCC 2.0.   Any help is appreciated.

A first step would be to check the Release Information Notes for SAP CC.

• SAP CC 3.0 Release Information Note: SAP Note 1583996

• SAP CC 4.0 Release Information Note: SAP Note 1856154

To make it short, SAP CC 3.0 is the first version that is tighly integrated to other SAP components for the Hybris Billing (formerly BRIM) solution. SAP CC 4.0 introduces support for additional business scenarios.

Thanks Oliver.  I will  refer to the release notes but in general my understanding is that I need not upgrade from 2.0 if my organization does not have vision to implement BRIM as its commerce solution.

You should not upgrade only if main reason for that is to have the latest version of application.

I presume, since you have SAP CC, that means your business is usage and subscription based.

Rational decision should be based on cost benefit analysis - if benefits of BRIM implementation are bigger than cost of implementation you should upgrade.

With BRIM, I mean Hybris Billing implementation your company gets much more than just latest version of rating and charging server.

P.S. BTW, I believe your organization could benefit from Hybris Billing implementation.
