MSS WDA On Behalf of Employee "Record Working Time" throwing Cannot update prior pay period entries Error

Hi All,

SAP MSS WDA On Behalf of Employee - Record Working Time is throwing - "Cannot update prior pay period entries" erorr, the moment we open the application for few employees however it is working for other employees. Can you please let me know the fix for this issue?

same question for you, can you log in to the backend with manager userid and update the same entries?

If not, is it the same error?

Yes, I am able to do it from backend with manager user id without having any problems and update the same entries.

is this custom one? can you check?

prior pay entries will refer to the payroll which are being updated.

check your setttings in CAC1 for time recording ccut off date too

are you having any checks for manager not to update the Working time in portal for users during payroll period etc, ie locking ?

can you paste the exact error?

can employee update himself his own record from ESS?

Hi,

It should be an issue with data for the pernr of these ids.

Check the same in backend system. It should display the same error.

Consult any HR Functional Consultant in your Organization.

did you check with same manager writing to same employees working times and it worked?
