LO setup doubts for VCSCL

Hi experts

I have a data source on 2lis_11_vaitm,13_vditm

Also did SHIPPING BW 2LIS_12_*(VCHDR,VCITM,VCSCL)

I did LbWG init etc. But is there any impact for regarding the delta setup of VAITM or VAHDR data sources?

I understand there is no need to delete the existing settings for VAITM & VAHDR data sources.

I did a query with 0sd_c03. Please help.

Dividing the stat./ setup is out of question for individual data sources. As its specific to each shipping application. Choose the application & fill all Header, Item and Schedule line data; schedule a statistical setup after that. To clarify your doubts, you can check http://scn.sap.com/thread/1202867 All you need is to run VIFBW, or post OLI8BW doing a setup table clearance using LBWG w/12 as the input. For all I recall, you need 2 fields, which are shipping cost # & date. Also, you can refer OLI8BW issue via http://goo.gl/q2dtu before you perform any initialisation.

Hi malavika,

Datasource is present on the top of the application table whenever u fill the data to the datasource using OLI*BW , the data from application table will go to the corresponding datasource.

So deleting the data in the datasource doesn't have any impact on the application table like vbak,vbap etc.. whenever  u delete the data from the datasource the data will be deleted from the datasource but not from the application table.

You can check the data in the datasource via RSA3 tcode. and check the data in the application table via SE11 tcode.

Addition: Delta load always pulls data from RSA7. Full and INIT loads only pulls data from Respective setup tables.

LBWG - Deletion of setup tables. when you give application component number, it deletes whole data which were related specific application component.

Deleting and filling of setup tables never impact delta pointer/loads.

Hi,

As Anindya said, if once delete the setup tables data that means we can't see data for any datasource with component 11. We can test this by using tcode RSA3 with respective datasource.

Again we need to be fill the setup tables by using tcode then able to see the data.

Come to delta, no issues if you deleted data from setup table.

Hi Malavika

Deletion ( LBWG) and filling up of setup table is application specific. That means when you run LBWG and choose 11 as appl comp , all data in setup tables for application 11 gets deleted.

Similarly when you run OLI7BW data for all 2LIS_11* gets loaded in setup table.

Filling up/ Deletion of setup table and re-init does not have impact on other DataSource.

e.g if you are doing re-init for 2LIS_11_VAITM  existing delta for 2LIS_11_VAHDR should not be facing any problem
