Dear All,

am very new to IS Retail. My customer has said " some articles are not getting replenished for certain stores".(currently manual STOs are raised to serve the purpose)

1.what are the settings i have to check in article master for replenishment function.(at present in article master Logistics store tab RP type is - RP, Reorder point 10,Target Stock  10,are the details maintained).

2.What are the steps involved in getting stock replenished. How i can check whether the auto replenishment is working?

Plese suggest.

Thanks & Regards,

CSR.

Hi,

You can select an article and then execute WRP1 online to check the details.

Hello,

The easiest way to look at this is to use transaction WR60 (replenishment parameter overview). You can see the replenishment parameters, replenishment quantity, status of last replenishment run etc. as a list.

Since you are using RP type RP with Reorder Point and Target stock, please see the whether the available stock is below Reorder point for articles not getting ordered.

Thanks,

Venu

Hi Chandrashekara,

If you are doing replenishment for store with an external vendor then th source of supply should be maintained 'Standard = 1' in Logistics store. Yes you need to maintain that as 1.

Hi Chandra,

Check in transaction wb02. enter you store and goto supplying sites tab.

here your supplying site should be maintained.

You should not get this message once this is maintained.

Hi ,

You can check the parameters set up under article master logistics store view RP parameters and you can validate these details under WR60. However you have run the WRP1 Replenishment: Planning with no check mark for Net Change planning under control tab then execute, enter the qty under Replen.req execute. Now PR/STO will be generated as per your config.

Hi Chandrasekar,

Ideally your reorder point and target stock shouldn't be the same, Target stock is the maximum quantity of that article that the customer would want to be in that store. Reorder point would be calculated based on the time taken by the vendor to deliver the stock so that you don't face 'stock out' situation. for eg: if target stock is 100, reorder point is 40, once the stock level reaches 40 and you do the replenishment run, follow on document gets generated for 60 units.

Hope you understand how this works.

Vikram

hi Avneet,

it is already maintained.

1.WB02 - Supplying site maintained.

2.Article master Logistics/DC - Source of supply 1.

3.Article master Logistics/stores - Source of supply 2.

let me know if i missed any thing else

Thanks & Regards,

chandra.

Hi Chandra

if you are doing an internal replenishment, then your source of supply should be 2 for both you logistics DC and store.

In case you would need an external replenishment with your vendor then source of supply should be 1 for both logistics DC and store. And also your purchase info record (me11 transaction) should be maintained.

Could you update these and check.

Hi Chandra,

Well i have created my STO's using transaction me21n.

Sometimes the shipping tab is not visible when i  create the STO. So if the shipping informatons does not get inserted into the STO, then outbound delivery doesnt gets generated.

For this i maintained following customization settings in the system. Try maintaining them and see if that works for you.

Customizing settings needed in the ERP system for the Shipping tab to be available in an STO

Shipping Point Determination for DC (Source Location) and Store (Target Location)

IMG à Logistics Execution à Shipping - Basic Shipping Functions à Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination à Assign Shipping Points

Assign Goods Receiving Points for Inbound Deliveries to DC and Store

IMG à Logistics Execution à Shipping à Basic Shipping Functions à Shipping Point and Goods Receiving Point Determination à Assign Goods Receiving Points for Inbound Deliveries

Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule

IMG à Materials Management à Purchasing - Purchase Order à Set up Stock Transport Order à Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule

Assign Picking Locations to DC

IMG à Logistics Execution à Shipping à Picking à Determine Picking Location à Assign Picking Locations

Hope it helps!
