Deleting workitems in SAP inbox for the same material number and placing the latest one.

I have a requirement , that for a specific matterial creation a mail goes to manager. Again due to some changes in material created again another mail goes to manager. Repeted changes in the material sends multiple mails to the inbox. I have to remove all the earlier mails in the inbox and place the latest mail in the inbox. Can any one give some solution.
