Hi Karthi,

If that is really your question, then the answer is: use Transaction SE16 to get a listing from table /SAPSLL/CTSNUM.  The codes are in field CCNGN.  Choose Edit > Download from the menu, to save as a spreadsheet.

But somehow I have the feeling that your real question is more complicated

Hi Karthik,

Do you have batch jobs setup for reports /sapsll/stawn_retransfer and /sapsll/stawn_retransfer_r3?

These 2 will retransfer the codes from GTS to R/3 and will update the same in material master in ECC.

This will make sure the same codes are assigned to the products in ECC and GTS.

Pls chk these

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_gts80/helpdata/en/48/a89bf551956743e10000000a421937/content.htm

/sapsll/stawn_retransfer is at GTS which will fetch products classified on particular date and transfer those and update in 2 temporary tables in R/3.

/sapsll/stawn_retransfer_r3 will take those from the temp tables and updates in material masteri n R/3.

If you would like to resync/correct huge number of materials which were classified in the past may be 2009/2010.

You will have to either try to manipulate something in the date or you may download the codes and reclassify the products to have those fetched by /sapsll/stawn_retransfer.

Hi Karthik,

If you are referring to Commodity Codes (8-digit), then Dhilipan's advice is correct - the 2-stage process he describes will synchronise the ERP system with the classification work already carried out in GTS.  Any Commodity Codes already in ERP (table T604) but not used in GTS will remain, and can be deleted manually.

If you are referring to Tariff Codes (typically 10-digits), then come back to us.

Hi

Yes we have the batch job re-transfer programme we tried to make some changes in the material master which triggers the update from the GTS.

we tried with change in  Maintenance status (PSTAT)  for some materials the commodity code has been updated in material master but for some material it is not getting updated. Please suggest there reasons why some materials are not getting updated.

Thanks

Hi Karthik,

Did you get chance to check the job log in R/3. It should give you an idea on why Codes were not updated for certain materials.

Some specific reasons i can think of.

   a) If you know, the product for which there was no update. Check the corresponding code if it has any Supplmentary unit assigned to it. If so, system would identify a mapping Internal UoM and transfers that to R/3. If that particular unit is not updated in the R/3 material master with the conversion units. System will not updated the code in the material master.

   b) Material master is in open in change mode by someother batch user or end users.

   c) Do you have more than one R/3 retransfer jobs. If that's the case, check if you have any update terminations in FM- /sapsll/swnwlr3_db_del_r3.

Following things can be checked.

1) Was that product picked for retransfer by the GTS Batch job.- Source: Chk the job log

2) Check the job log in r/3.

3) Check the above mentioned possible reasons.

Thanks

Dhilipan
