I need to add a few links in the masthead. I made the changes and have deployed the EAR file in Portal. How do I create an Iview for that EAR file that I deployed.
The discussion doe snot help ... I am also looking to see how you can create an iview based on EAR file. Similar to what needed to be done before when creating an iview based on a PAR file...
First you deploy the EAR on the AS JAVA. Next navigate in the Portal Content Catalog to Portal Applications and locate the portal component that you just deployed. Select "Copy" from the context menu, then navigate to the directory for your custom iViews and select "Paste as PCD Object" from the context menu. Give a name, ID and namespace for the iView.
