Help required - Solution Manager Charms Configuration

Hi All,

Currently we are planning to implement CHARMS. Could someone please lets me know the pre-requisite / steps involvement in CHARMS configuration. Do we have any standard document for this configuration?

SOLMAN version: Solution manager 7.1 SPS08

Hi Shanthosh

>        First you have to configure the post installation steps form Solman System via Solman_setup

>        Till Managed system we have to perform activity till 3^rd step where we create the required RFC ‘s to the managed system, as from 7.1, with the help of RFC only you can able to configure Charm, no need of domain link etc

>        For Charm there is a special note have to apply , you find it in post installation steps or in the solman_workcenter

>        Configure the trusted system in SMT1 , you have to create new from all managed system, here u have to use the trusting RFC u created in 3^rd step in post installation step

>        Configure IBase

On left navigation bar goto : SAP Components >> SAP Solution Manager >> Release 7.1

You can find ChaRM config guide under "Additional guides"
