2.Does the Shift Changes on Weekly Basis?

Hi., adding on to others:
1) The decision crteria is, is it going to one employee across all these shifts over the period of time like Govardhan mention., if yes, you can control through PWS -> with only one work schedule rule., through this one employee works 1 week in Genral shift, 2nd week in 1st shift, and 3rd week other shift... etc.
2) No., the people, who are in general shift -> continue to be on general shift for ever : in which case create one work schedule rule specifically to this set of employees.
3) Similar to 2nd case, if any employee going to continue on the mentioned shift for not uncertain amount of time, you configure separate work schedule for that shift/case.
in case employee moved from case 1 to 2, then change their work schedule in their IT0007.
Hope it helps.
Warm regards!

Dear Vijay,
You can assign different ESG grouping for them and you may create different PWS for those different group of employees. The segregation of employee groups and PWS can be increased/decreased according to your requirement.
Example: Maintance Genral: 1
Maintanance Shift1 :2
PS Grp | PWS | Week | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
1 | ABCD | 001 | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | WOFF |
1 | ABCD | 002 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | WOFF |
1 | ABCD | 003 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | WOFF |
1 | ABCD | 004 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | WOFF |
1 | WXYZ | 001 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | WOFF |
1 | WXYZ | 002 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | WOFF |
1 | WXYZ | 003 | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | WOFF |
1 | WXYZ | 004 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | WOFF |
1 | PQRS | 001 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | SHIFT 1 | WOFF |
1 | PQRS | 002 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | SHIFT 2 | WOFF |
1 | PQRS | 003 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | SHIFT 3 | WOFF |
1 | PQRS | 004 | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | GEN | WOFF |
You may create the Work Schedule Rule by using the different ESG Groupings by assigning the Holiday Calanders and PWS in V_T508A.
This is an example. You may design the your Work Schedule Rule based on your requirement.
Sincerely
Govardhan Reddy
HI,
create your Work Schedule according to your timings in Table V_T550A - Define Daily Work Schedule. And assign these work schedules to your Period Work Schedule table: V_T551A (Define period work schedule). Assign these Period work schedules in the Work schedule rules table:V_T508A.
