Hi All

i want to confimr wheather this can be right procedure ?

we have SO  174 qty ind pur ord (tab) has PO for 174 qty which is GR'd can i create OBD for 40 items and 130 qty at later date without affecting the PO

only thing is we have batch job for OBD creation so instead of batch job i need to create manual OBD for 40 then i need to set the SO to delivery block (manual)  is this the correct procedure ?

Hello Ashok,

Yes you are going on correct way.

No need to put  any delivery block.You can create a OBD with 40 qty and later on can rest of it.

Hi,

Why Delivery block is required ?

When you do GR for 40 then obviously Sales order will confirm only 40 quantity

if GR is confirmed with full quantity which is 170 and you want to do OBD for 40 and remaining 130 to let Batch job to drop, then you can create 40, as well

I think deliver block functionality is not required
