Hi,
We are testing Content Server 6.4 on Windows 2008 R3 writing to a file system. Content Server appears to be creating a new folder for each file. The application programmers would prefer it not introduce new folders, but more closely mirror the copied directory structure. I have reviewed the documentation on ContentServer.INI, but do not see a parameter to control this.
Is anyone aware of a way to adjust this?
TIA,
Russ
My best guess is that you need review you Logical and Physical path on transaction FILE and review the variables... usually location is defined on the Content Repository trsanaction OAC0

Thanks for the response.
I reviewed OAC0, but don't see anything that appears to control this.
It looks like the new folders are due to Content Server setting up content versions. Different versions of the same document could be retained by storing them under different folders. I have started asking the application programmers if this functionality is needed. In the mean time I'm trying to find a way to turn it off, if that turns out to be necessary.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Russ
No, I don't see an entry in FILE or AL11 that appears to point to the repository.
Thanks.

Russ
