How to Track Who Create the PR by Manually Run MRP

Hi Expert,

Recently my client told me that he found some PR generated unexpectedly by system. I highly suspect that the new PR is generated by the someone else MRP run and the old PR is often replaced by the new one and it's impossible to find the User ID who actaually run MRP and created this PR. So what I am trying to do is to find out the action log and figure out who run MRP. Who can support me on this? Many thanks indeed!

frankly spoken, it is a user who has the authority, this should usually limit the number of people who can do it.

Use MD05 to find the execution time of the last MRP run

then use STAD transaction to analyze who has executed it at that time

Dear Customer,

From the CCMS monitoring side I can suggest to please check the following KBA:

2349134 - Check what Transactions were Run by which Users

If you want to get the detailed data from the user, you should check the audit log SM20 only if you have activated the SM20 in SM19. Since SM20 is for the security audit log. ST03 is for the performance analysis.

Hi Jasper ,

For any PR once created, there will be a tab called Contact Person in the item overr view screen and open the same and check the creation indicator there . You can get all the information for the PRs created .

the person (EBAN-ERNAM) in the contact person screen is actually the description from the MRP controller who is entered in the material master MRP1 view ( if the creation indicator is B for MRP run), it is not the name of the person who executed MD01 or MD03.

Thank you for your prompt reply. What do you mean by the creation indicator for MRP run, does it refer to "Create purchase req - Purchase requisitions in opening period" in the MD02/MD03 screen?

you find the creation indicator directly below the name of PR creator in the contact  person tab of the PR. this indicator is set automatically by the program, press F4 to see how a PR can be created.

Try to display data of the table EBAN, the user who create the PR is in the field EBAN-ERNAM.

Might be possible via ST03 if done recently. Speak to your Basis contacts, they're usually familiar with this tx.
