Not able to connect Universe in BO Dashboard 4.0

Hi,

I am trying to connect the BO Dashboard to universe through Query Browser, but after selecting the universe, error is coming.

Error: Query script Generation failed.

Can anyone guide me the way to sort it out.I am attaching screenshot of the same.

make sure you adjust the Web Service URL in the CMC under Applications

XLS 000009 is a fairly generic error that is usually thrown after a separate error.  You can see sometimes what the actual error is with a fiddler trace.

With the query browser and a UNX universe,  I would first try opening the universe with the IDT and see if a query can work from there.

Indeed,  the dashboard processing/cache servers need to be up and running.   Take a look at the dashboardProcessing server logs.  There may be a hint in there as to the issue.

Which DB you are using? you cant build  a dashboard for excel DB.

also restart your dashboard processing server and capture the fiddler logs if issue persist.
