Commitment update after Commit. Management Ticked in budget profile

Dear All,

We have not ticked "Commit. Management" in budget profile when we implemented internal order budget controls. So the POs created with account assignment as internal order are not consuming budget. and in our reporting commitment was not captured.

Number of POs has been created after that.

Now Commit. Management is Ticked in Budget Profile and we want  to update the commitment in Internal orders for already created POs. so that this commitment will consume my budget

Is there any way to achieve this ?

Regards, Rakesh

Hi,

Please, run RKANBU01 report for this (via SE38).

Thanx Eli,

Its working.

Now there is reverse case, Commit. Management is ticked and we have created POs which consumed  budget.

Now Commit. Management tick is removed for the internal order type, is it possible to wipe out the commitment which consumed budget ?

Thanks once again,

Regards, Rakesh

That will be already deletion of actual data from the system. Technically, it's possible, but not recommended.

Hi Eli,

I can not delete the POs which are already created due to business reasons.

Also I have checked if I make changes to "Delivery Date" in PO, then system will remove the PO from commitment. This process also I can not follow as there are huge number of POs.

Any other way out

Hi,

As I said, technically, it's possible. Please, look at note 334851 for reference. I would test, though, this solution before messing with the data in Production.
