FTP error in sender channel

Hi,

I am picking a file from FTP location.

In the sender file channel it is givine me below error:

"The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550 Cannot create a file when that file already exists. '. For details, contact your FTP server vendor"

Is it possible to get this is error in the sender FTP channel and what could be the possible reason / solution to this?

Regrads,

Jatin

    Hi,

do you have archiving set on in the channel ?

can you try turning it OFF and check again ?

Archiving is not the issue, as I have tried by removing Archiving in the sender channel.

      Still same error.

Another strange thing is that the file starts polling and throws error, but I do not see any payload in the communication channel. No file shows up there.

    Hi Jatin,

If you are using the archive, check that directory.. if files are saving with the same name or not?

if so make the necessary changes to the file name..

From the error , the issue is with creating a file. That only happens in a sender FTP channel when it is archived. Can you make sure your date/time settings while archiving are working like you expect it. If you are able to connect to the FTP server through an FTP Pro connection, that would be the best way to check.

Check the Write access of the Folder/Archive folder wrt PI user and also check firewall blocking.
