How to configure Business place and affect other function.

Hi FI expert,

Can anyone provide infoformation about field "Business place"?

I have already read SAP Liverary, and understood basic idea of business place.

but I do not know how to configure in detail (especially for south koreak) ,Usage, What affect to existed company code.

[Back ground]

We are considering rollout to south korea company, we noticed that we need to use business area to fulfill tax requirement.

Our environment ECC 6.0 EH4.
