Unable to receive AS2 MDN from AS2 Receiver Adapter.

Hi Experts,

I have done File to AS2 Scenario and AS2 File reaching to the target partner and confirmed.

For this scenario, to receive MDN, I have done the below details:

In AS2 Receiver Channels and AS2 Reports Sender Channel ans Sender Agreement as below Screenshot:

But here I did not any MDM as below:

What I did wrong or any step skipped here?

I thought there (in the receipt details) must be something with unique MDN ACK number right.

But here I did not find any MDN Detials but only EMPTY MDN.

is this OK for my scenario?

OR anything else required in the MDN?

Hi Sreeni,

An MDN is just a notification. It will confirm original sender that recipient got the actual message.

Hence it should be enough.

In the Handle received MDN option, try giving the Refer MDN to XI System option instead of No action that you have given in the AS2 receiver CC.

In the Handle received MDN option, try giving the Refer MDN to XI System option instead of No action that you have given in the AS2 receiver CC

=> yes, this allows you to forward an DtReport message to the IntegrationServer with all relevant information.

However, it is also strange that it shows..."null" for the Message-ID in your MDN details.

I would also suggest, to enter no subject in the ReportChannel, just "*" as many AS2-Software set the subject dynamically...and the correlation is anyway done based on Sender/Receiver/MessageID.

Did you specify the same subject in both channels (where you have overwritten in the screenshot with SreeSubject)?
