hello guru's
i am new to sap hcm..my client needs to create service entry sheet through CATM or ML81N t.code. i know the CATS normal process like CAC1,CAC2,CAT2,CAT4,CAT6.. can anyone please provide the process flow of configuration? please help me out..
Hi ,
Please find the below paths,
SAP R/3 Application Components -> Cross-Application Components -> Cross-Application Time Sheet (CATS) -> Transfer of Time Sheet Data to the Target Components -> Data Transfer to Materials Management (MM-SRV)
The account assignment from the purchase order always has priority. The account assignment from CATS is only transferred if the purchase order has no account assignment. You can use customer exit "EXIT_SAPLMLSK_001" (extension SRVESKN) to assign an alternative account assignment.
EXIT_SAPLMLSR_020
EXIT_SAPLMLSR_021
Following user exit for MLN81N:
Exit Name Description
INTERFAC Interface for data transfer
SRVDET User screen on tab strip of service detail screen
SRVEDIT Service list control (maintenance/display)
SRVENTRY Unplanned part of entry sheet (obsolete since Rel. 3.1G)
SRVESI Data conversion entry sheet interface
SRVESKN Set account assignment in service line
SRVESLL Service line checks
SRVESSR Set entry sheet header data
SRVEUSCR User screen on entry sheet tabstrip
SRVKNTTP Setting the account assgnmt category when reading in, if "U"
SRVLIMIT Limit check
SRVMAIL1 Processing of mail before generation of sheet
SRVMSTLV Conversion of data during importing of standard service cat.
SRVPOWEB Purchase order for service entry in Web
SRVQUOT Service export/import for inquiry/quotations
SRVREL Changes to comm. structure for release of entry sheet
SRVSEL Service selection from non-SAP systems
SRV_FRM SRV: Formula calculation (obsolete since 4.0A!)
Thanks

Hi Lakshmi,
Some of the inputs Shiva has given in the 1st part is usefull.
Besides that you have to get the details from the MM consultant like the order number, against which you have to book your time sheet, as you are aware you have to approve the time sheet before transfering to CATM.
Maintain the details required in IT315, as when you run the data transfer system check the data consistency.
If you have kept you time sheet on auto approval then you can transfer the data to the desired DB Tables other wise you have to approve then transfer the same.- check T code- CAT4.
Once the data is successfully transferd you can run ML81N as the data will be available then.
As Remi explained, all the configuration related CATS takes place under below navigation path:
SPRO -> Cross-Application Components -> Time Sheet -> etc..
and the T codes you found under below path of Easy access Menu:
Easy Access Menu -> Human Resources -> Time Management -> Time Sheet and you follow from there.
Hope it helps.
Warm Regards!
-Kanuku

I'm not familiar with t-code catm, but did you check the IMG (t-code = spro) under "Cross-Application Components" ?
