IDOC status 03 to 41

Dear Experts,

   My scenario is IDOC-FILE, ,in ECC after triggering IDOC,its showing status 03 but i want status 41.Can you please help me out.

Hi,

IDoc status 41 refers to 'Application document created in target document' , in other words Application Acknowledgment. You will need ALEAUD to be received into ECC to update the status of the IDoc in status 03.

  thank you for your reply,

  for that in ECC i had maintained partner profile with inbound parameters of type ALEAUD.

In PI,i had created IDOC receiver communication channel,receiver determination & Agreement.

also in SE38 executed the report IDX_NOALE with proper client and all.

But still in PI Moni,in Acknowledgement payload its showing "unable to convert sender service to an ale logical".

Do i need to do any further configurations.

As you have IDoc to file, I am not sure if you can get application acknowledgments. For ECC system, are you having an IDoc or an IDoc_AAE adapter?

No am not using any sender idoc adapter.

  i had gone through all these threads,

1.In ECC i had defined Partner profile with inbound parameters of msg type ALEAUD.

2.Created Receiver IDOC CC,Receiver Determination & Agreement.

3.In SE38 executed the IDX_NOALE with proper port & client and requested for ACK

  but in PI moni in ACK Payload its showing "Unable to convert the sender system to ALE  logical".

do i need to any further configuration..

Hi,

AFAIK, IDX_NOALE is for suppressing acknowledgments. For getting acknowledgements, an entry is made in IDXALEREQUEST. Also, the application acknowledgments are possible  for IDoc to IDoc scenario, not for IDoc to file.

we can use BPMs, from the xi-playing-with-file-adapters

but i dont know how to design.

should i create 2 service interface one for file inbound & another abstract.

also in BPM design given in the above document,how should the 'switch' step defines

please guide me.
