CHANNEL_DETERMINATION_FAILED error in production environment

Hi Experts,

We are in support stag and we are getting CHANNEL_DETERMINATION_FAILED in production environment(PI 7.11). We got this error twice in a year Its a Synchronus interface, non-sap to APO system.

We require 4 to 5 hrs of to run entire process chain to process data. When ever we are getting we are re sending request from non-sap. We are loosing precious time of 4 to 5 hrs. So, we want to find out the reason and resolve this issue.

Can anyone help me in resolving this error?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Nnaushad Shaik

      Thanks Peter for your reply.

I have already gone through this thread.

Actual error is couldn't find delivery channel and is in PI production.

Delivering the message to the application using
      connection SOAP_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to:
      com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Couldn't
find delivery channel for message: 51865d37-675c-06f0-e100-80000a240c69.

What is the status of Adapter Engine and communication channel in communication channel monitoring?

Do the checks mentioned in below help page

    Hi Naushad,

First STOP the channel from Runtime Workbench -- Communication Channel monitoring. Then make false changes to Receiver Agreement (if the channel is Receiver or Sender Agreement). Then do the same in Communication Channel. Check the Cache status in ID. Then START the channel from CC Monitoring.

    • No. If you do then you'll be having too much information being logged.

Whenever you get such error in future you can enable and try resending the failed messages by activating XPI inspector for this channel.
