Use cases when PI Sender IDOC is essential

Hi ,

I am interested to know , when do we need to configure an IDOC sender Communication channel , give that we do not need a sender channel for IDOC by default.

One of the scenario when Sender IDOC channel is necessary is when we need to do IDOC packaging.

Hi Krishna,

Not even i doc.. Http adopter also.

Both adopters are residing on ABAP stacks. that is the reson no need to crate the sender communication channels.

I doc' works through ABAP connction with 3 type connecion.

sender communication channel is required for sending semilar idoc  at a time: (bunch of idocs)

Http works through ICM's.
