BEx Analyzer Workbook as an iView in the Portal

Hi Expert,

I want to create BEx Analyzer Workbook as an iView in Portal. I have referred below mention sap help for reference:

Here I have created Transaction iView using Tcode RRMXP for BI system object. Also mention below paramters to run BEx Analyzer workbook:

ApplicationParameter has the value WBID=<WORKBOOK_ID>

The property AutoStart must have the value True. --> while creating this Tcode iView in portal, i am not able to find this property.

The property GuiType must have the value WinGui.

The property Technique must have the value SAP Shortcut.

After creating this iView, when I am doing PREVIEW for the iView, the iView is running through SAPlogonPad by Wingui type and by entering the control in BI system. Rather it should ask sap shortcut and should save the BEx workbook on Analyzer on local system.

I believe functionality which I mention is right but somewhere I am entering wrong values; may be BI system object contains some other values..?

Require inputs on the same...

Hello Hanif,

If a workbook or query is not defined, the BEx Analyzer is started with a connection to the BI system only.

So check if you have provided correct workbook_id from the workbook analyzer and slo check the workbook settings.

● The value WBID=<WORKBOOK_ID> is in the ApplicationParameter property.

You can determine the workbook ID with the BEx Analyzer:

a. Open the required workbook.

b. In the design toolbar for the BEx Analyzer, choose Workbook Settings The dialog Workbook Settings includes the workbook ID in the upper field Name of Workbook.

● The property ApplicationParameter has the value QUERY=<QUERY>, where <QUERY> is the technical name of the query.

Thanks for your response. I am referring SAP Note 1646028 to publish BEx Analyzer (Query/Workbook) as an iView in the Portal.

But unfortunately it is not running even after giving required WBID parameter.

Any idea what is going wrong.. ??
