Hi,

a logical system is a logical name that is used to identify a client into a system for ALE communication.

ALE - > is the management of the communication between SAP system and an external system

Creation of Logical system you can use transaction BD54.

Ivan wrote right.

I can add that when you create a client to assingn to the client a logical-system, to do this you use transaction SCC4.
