Hi,
The dispatcher of my ERP system has the status 'running but Dialog Queue standstill' and all ABAP work processes are not running. Without having any work processes running, I am not even able to use SAP GUI to connect to the system.
Host and system details:
Both systems -- ERP and Solution Manager -- were running at the same time. I have no idea why the ERP system is broken but the Solution Manager is still running.
Has anyone faced the highlighted problem 'Windows time jumped approx -2 seconds. ' as seen below. The following log is from dev_disp:

I assume that my problem is caused by a strange behavior of the database connection. For some admin user, the database connection seems to work, but for other admin users the connections is failing.
I have installed an ERP system, Solution Manager and SAP MaxDB on the same host (using as a demo system). SAP MaxDB version 7.8.02.26, the ERP and Solution Manager have their own DB.
Installation Properties for the database DB2 which is used by the ERP system:
OK
VERSION = 7.8.02.26
INSTROOT = C:\sapdb\DB2\db
SYSTEM = NO
ISOLATED = YES
XServerState = Running
SSLPortNoOrService = 7205
NIPortNoOrService = 7204
PortNoOrService = 7203
XserverAutostart = yes
DataPath = C:\sapdb\DB2\data
Name = DB2
Installation Properties for the database DB1 which is used by the Solution Manager system:
OK
VERSION = 7.8.02.26
INSTROOT = C:\sapdb\DB1\db
SYSTEM = NO
ISOLATED = YES
XServerState = Running
SSLPortNoOrService = 7202
NIPortNoOrService = 7201
PortNoOrService = 7200
XserverAutostart = yes
DataPath = C:\sapdb\DB1\data
Name = DB1

--> return code indicates kernel issue
What is causing the different behavior? Why is the database connection depending on the user?

Hi ,
Please check the below url
http://scn.sap.com/message/506791
http://scn.sap.com/thread/1611444
R3trans -d should be excuted with <sid>adm user and pleasse check the trans.log after excuteing R3trans -d
Best Regards,
Atul
Hi Atul,
I have executed r3trans -d with different users as you can see above.
Then I used the er1adm user which is the local ERP admin. Even so the test did not completed with any return code such as r3trans finished (0012), the trans log file did not contain any error.
The trans log file looks ok.

Hello
I see SapTimer errors and the only SAP Note that speak about it is this

Hi Andreas,
since your solman is running, only erp is down - please check the log area of erp instance.
Use DBMGUI and select the instance and check the log area, if its full, you have to backup the log area in order to reuse the existing log volume.
As Juan requested, please paste dev_w0 logs too
