Offering Business Objects InfoView via Internet Portal

Hello,

We would like to offer our clients the ability to access their data via an online portal.  Is this possible with Business Objects?  In other words, can we have the InfoView portal accessible over the internet for them to use?  If so, how can this get implemented?

It is possible, implementation depends on what your company standards are in this area.

Does your company exposes any other web apps/portals to the internet ?

Hi Denis,

Let's assume for a minute the company would allow web apps/portal exposure to the internet, how does this need to be implemented?

You create a web server in the DMZ (outside and inside firewall protected), expose its address to the internet, this web server will route BOE requests to your existing BOE web app server. That's it.
