Dear Experts !!
I am doing configuration for a pharmaceutical company. The PRICING configuration they need is as under :
Company/Global Wise Price
Branch/City Wise Price
Channel/Subchannel Wise Price
Customer Wise Price
What I need to know is that what does these terms means? and how will these be configured in the system? will it be done like normal pricing that we do in SD or there is something else i need to do?
Hi,
You have to create pricing condition records for each company in the group. Further you may use different accesses viz:
1) Country/Material or Country/Customer/Material for other countries
2) Define Sales Office for each branch and create access Sales office/Material/Ship-to-party for branch & city reference (you need to have city codes defined in your system)
Maintaining different prices for each city will be tedious and it is preferable to maintain prices for a sales area and add other charges as per each city/locale if required in the pricing procedure.
3) Sales Org/Distribution Channel/Material & Sales Org/Distribution Channel/ Dealer/ Material for channel wise pricing and
4) Customer/Material for customer specific pricing.
You may use price lists or material groups as well as required.

Hi Faraz,
I have extensively worked and working on Life sciences domain. I never heard these terms. As suggested by Neeraj and Karuna, i recommend you to discuss with business users and understand how do they want to differentiate these 4 categories. Do they have any identifications at customer master level?
Generally, these type of categorization can be achieved by using customer price lists, customer groups and additional partner functions like End customers.
Before finalizing on hierarchy level pricing refer below SAP Notes 1600090 and 1601021.
And also the link: http://www.saptechies.com/hierarchical-access-functionality/

I understood you have issue of customer hierarchy. Check transaction VDH2N.
Business scenario will be like this:
Customer has different hierarchy: 1) Head office, 2) Branch office 3) Area office 4) Customer.
Now all of theses hiearachy can make pricing agreement with business like Head office and business.
As Head office has more power of buying goods so normally it gets good discount in comparison with Customer and business pricing agreement. Same way Branch office will get more discount than customer but less discount than Head office so on.
I will suggest you to check this with your business and understand business process applicable in your SAP application first.
What you can do: If it is Hierarchy business scenario, then create access on hiererchy level and assign it to access sequence. There should be hierarchy partner defined in partner determination.
Hope this will fulfill your query

Hi,
This is possible easily in CRM
but in SD you have to explore the following options
Company/Global Wise Price
Use country Key as one of the field in the pricing table to differentiate between Global Price and Country
Branch/City Wise Price
Create Branch and City field in the pricing field catalog using system modifications
Customer Wise Price
Condition record should contain Customer as a field
Channel and sub-channel is not possible i believe
