Hello
I know that Universe Designer allows me to use @Variable('BOUSER') to get the login name of the currently logged on user. I use it to display only data the current user is allowed to see. The problem is that all our users also belong to groups, and their data access is also dependent on the group they are in. How can I access in Universe Designer a list of groups the current user belongs to?
Thanks and have a good day!
Hi Alex,
This is not possible in Universe Designer unless you have a datasource which holds the repository information.Alternatively you can use Query Builder to et the esired results.

Thanks Mani!
How can I create a datasource that accesses repository information, so that I can access its results in universe designer?
I used Query Builder and indeed it shows me the users and groups, but unless I misunderstood, it is a single-use query. Can I add the query to be ran in the universe?
