SAP Netweaver 7.3 AS JAVA Availability & Performance Tab is blank in NWA

Hello Experts,

I have installed a new SAP Netweaver 7.3 AS Java (+EP +NWDI) on Linux & Oracle DB.

After installation, I am able to log on the Java Application Server and Portal, however in NWA when I navigate to tab "Availability & Performance" no data is visible over there instead of a tiny image logo at the top left corner as shown below (Running on IE8)

Also afterwards, if I click on any other Tab, it doesn't navigate.

I am doing all this with the Administrator user per se.

I have tried to re-bounce SAP, Kernel 720_REL is on latest patch.

However I would be applying support package stack soon, but i don't think so it is related to that.

Any ideas? what could be the reason behind this?

Regards,

Akshay.

This issue is not specific to Java Application Server.

It was related to the front-end browser. I verified by accessing NWA on other front-end clients and it is coming nicely. So i restored by browser to default.

Hello,

could you please kindly post the exact settings of the browser ?

We are stuck with the same problem and even resetting the default settings didn't help.

Hi,

Basically the issue was the Flash Player Plugin in the Browser.

The monitor shown above is rendered as a result of the Flash Plugin.

So the catch is in the flash plugin in the browser, not any specific settings.

You should try on with other browsers such as chrome or firefox if supported or try to get latest flash plugin.

The issue is definitely related to browser and confined to flash plugin used to render the Availability and Performance monitor.

Regards,

Akshay

Oh, it's the flash player!! Many thanks for your reply!

We certainly don't have a flash player there!! And the Customer probably won't agree to have

it installed on the system! I can't also access the system from my system directly (it works with SAP GUI, but not through the browser), so I can't use my locally installed Firefox either.

I am suspecting the firewall and I've requested to have the java ports open, but nothing yet...
