SAP MM Info Record Config

Dear Experts,

When I am editing a P.O (ME22n) the system takes the order unit and the prices from the info record maintained. So if the info record has crates maintained for the item then I can not edit the P>O to order in pcs or any other order units. Is there any configuration level changes to come out of this situation.

pls advice.

Deb,

If you intend to do this often, you should consider changing the way you create your purchase info records.  If you set your purchase info records with 'variable order units', you can change the U/M in the POs.

Dear Deb,

If you don't want to adopt the info record details , remove the info record number from the respective inforecord number column, then system allow you do change the price and Unit of Measure, etc.,
