"Wrong CSV file formate" while accessing Excel for EPM-Add in Office

Hi all

Thanks for your response in advance. I am working on EPM10 NW version  for consolidation and getting " Wrong CSV file formate" while accessing Excel for EPM -Add in office.

Please Note: I do know how to get ride of the issue but the problem is still exist the movement , I have incorporate hierarchy in SCOPE dimension.

Problem and Solution:

Scope dimension:  Once I have hierarchy in place, the next movement I get above message pop-up via excel for EPM-Add in Office while accessing.

Solution:  Remove hierarchy from Scope dimension  > NIO ISSUE  for accessing Excel EPM Add in

I am looking for your guidance to see how to overcome the issue as I need to load  ownership data for hierarchy

Hi,

What I understood is that the error is appearing only if you maintain hierarchy in the scope dimension. If you remove this hierarchy, then the error is not appearing. Am I right?

When exactly are you getting the error? As soon as you launch EPM add in?

Thanks for message and Yes, that is correct . Once I have incorporate Hierarchy in the SCOPE Dimension and ccessing CONSOLIDATION Model via excel  excel will pop-up  WRONG CSV FORMATE Error.

Note: I Can acess OWNERSHIP model while I have CONSOLIDATION  model.
