Hi,
Multiple file upload , new feature in NW 7.3 knoweldge management is not displayed for end user. The same is displayed in the context menu in KM content page while logged in as content administrator.
Is it possible to make multiple file option display for the end user?. If , yes, how to do so?
Regards,
Sasikala
Hello Sasikala,
the multiple file upload comes - as far as I know - with the Layout Set "AdminExplorer". If you want to display the function "multiple file upload", you have to change the layout set of the iview, you want to use this with.
For example, I did this with the iview for the "Personal Documents".
Just type "AdminExplorer" into the space and save. That should do it.
The not so great thing about this: you don't just get the wanted function, but the different look of this layout. That is with the navigation on the left etc.
EDIT
Me again! I looked into it and there is a easier and nicer looking way, since you CAN just add this function to the "New"-list.
For this, go to "System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Content Management".
In the next view go to "User Interface > Commands > UI Command Groups".
Here you search for the "NewResourceGroup". And now just add the command "multiple_upload" at the position, you want it to appear. For me it looks like this:
No "Apply" and "OK" and the change is live. You can see it in your KM right away:
Gotta love SCN, keeps me learning every day. ^^

Steffi.
