Hello Experts,
We are doing the SAP data migration. As part of any data conversion/migration, validation reports need to be created to report out the Data quality metrics such as % of data loaded, % of data not loaded. BODS looks to have the built in capability to acheive this. I observe that there is a limitation to show only 200 sample records. In most cirucumstances, there is a need to report out entire data from the Error tables. Is there a configuration setting which can change to view all records from the Error table instead of just 200 sample data ?.
If there is a such setting, we do not need to develop any BOBJ reports for many objects we have and it will save us lot of development effort.
Appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks,
Narayanan
Hi,
Additionally if you have you own reporting tool , you can use your failed validation target table (when offload) as a source and design your report .
thanks

You can increase the sample size in Tools > Options > Designer. But i guess there would be a maximum limit for viewing the data.
Else you can output in a text file and view it using edit plus or excel.

ETL is not a reporting tool, thats the reason why people use Business Objects for their requirements. Having said that, you can still get some reports for which you have to do some activities in the designer and repo. First option is increase the sample size as i described above and check collect statistics and collect sample size in the validation transform before running the job. The second option is collect the required information from the repository tables (validation rule table) and publish/view as a report.
