SAP MM Certification Queries

Former Member

Hi All,

I'm planning to do SAP MM Certification in India through online mode starting June'13. I have a procurement background, have been an end user of SAP MM & have also undergone a private course in SAP MM (implementation). Can anyone tell me what are the aspects that i need to consider before i enroll for the program. I also need to know whether the 3 month OLT is a sufficient time frame for me to complete the certification considering that i have purely functional experience.

I also understand from the content available on SCN that one needs to be thorough with the course content before starting the program. While i have been doing the above, SAP is a vast subject and any help from SCN members on what sort of strategy i must adopt to clear the certification would be of great help. Further, in case anyone has any certification material which i can go through before i register, please mail it to me at [eMail address removed by SCN Moderators]evious threads seem to be inactive, so please provide links that can give me any relevant info.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Smitha,

please respect the SCN community terms and conditions and do not encourage sharing of SAP copyright materials (i.e. training materials and exam questions). You can attend online or classroom training to prepare for the exam and you are free to ask for community help in preparing for the exam.

You can purchase the professional SAP Certification preparation package by contacting your local SAP office. It contains all relevant materials plus exam voucher to pass the exam successfully:  https://training.sap.com/in/en/search?query=materials+management&Delivery=certification

Additionally you can also consult certification resources that guide you as to what's important as well as sample exam questions.

All the best with your exam!!

Hi Smitha,

The following below link helps you to identify the topics covered in this test and also Exam Pattern. So try to read the book completely for atleast 3- 4 times which helps you to understand the topics and subject clearly.

https://training.sap.com/v2/certification/c_tscm52_66-sap-certified-application-associate---procurem...

Regarding OLT, Its enough time for making preparation unless you put your efforts.

All the Best!!!

Thanks

Nayeem.

Hi,

SAP MM certification was easy until Dec 2012. But I believe that SAP has changed its pattern with real scenarios. However, I can give u the pattern of questions. Its plainly objective , true/false, multiple choice answers. In multiple choice say 5 answers may be correct but u need to analyse which suits the best of which only4 will be correct.

actually split the entire 4 books according to the topic like

1.Basics( Master data- material master, vendor master, info record, source list,Quota)

AND ACCOUNT DETERMINATION

2.All topics in PURCHASING (all kinds of purchasing activities- consignment-subcontract, regular po..)

3. ALL TOPICS IN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

4. ALL TOPICS IN INVOICE VERIFICATION.

This way, i was able to know what comes in each topic.

I scored 85%

Take time to answer the difficult questions by flagging them and answer the ones which are easy.

I took only 1 hour to complete the entire exam.

Best of luck for exams !!. If I find sample questions , I shall mail you.

Regards

Dhinesh
