    Hi,

The Production order which are derived from MRP will have the planned order number assignment in (AFPO-PLNUM) as it is routed from the planned order. Also you can check the order material relevancy to MRP with field AFPO-DNREL which shows the MRP relevancy of Header material to Production Order.

    Hi,

I also have gone through this requirement from business and i mapped it as below. It works only if you run the MRP in the background. If you run it manually in foreground, the below solution will be of no use. Check the below points.

    1. Create a new user ID with only restricted authorizations (only MRP relevant). For eg: MRPAUTO
    2. Schedule the MRP background jobs using this ID. Nobody can create planned orders using this ID as they will not have authorization to this ID.
    3. Pass AUFNR to AFPO table and get the planned order number (PLNUM) or simply check in CO02/CO03.
    4. Pass the planned order to PLNUM of PLAF table and check the PUSER. If it is the MRPAUTO, then it is system created otherwise manual.

May be the SAP would have provided a much better option than this. Proceed with this if you don't have any other options.

    Hi,

MRP run will generate planned order which in further can be converted in Production orderand during conversion the planned order no is assigned to Production order.

Also you can differentiate the Planned order created by MRP and Manually thru MD11 by checking * against Planned order in MRP element data column in MD04 list.
