I am wondering if there is a current standard SAP field in which to track the fact of whether or not an employee's Social Security Number (SSN) has been validated?
We currently do SSN validation as a part of our on-boarding process, and are processing our employee hires manually. There is a perception that SSNs are being mis-entered at the point of data entry by the data entry staff.
My initial thought is to utilize the SSN validation service provided by the Social Security Administration, and then mark a checkbox field on the employee record to track that this additional validation has occurred.
My wonder is if there is any SAP standard field to handle such a process.
Any insight would be appreciated.
