Hello Experts,
Can anyone suggest how do we calculate Grant Expense and Revenue. I found Table "GMGR" holds this information(GM Valuetype 99 Expenses/Revenues [Grant]). But how to extract Expense and Revenue from the Valuetype 99?
Please suggest. Also bare my simple questions as i am new to Public sector management.
Thanks

GMGR is a master data table. If you want the revenue and expense amounts you need to go to GMIT. In GMIT you can use Sponsor Class to identify revenue and expenditure amounts.

Hi shymal
Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I found value type 99 is for grant expenses and revenue. Can you tell how do infer that a particular sponsor class is for expense and another sponsor class is responsible for revenue ? Also it would be more helpfull if you could suggest any reference guides for learning public sector technical and functional concerts .
Thanks

Hello shyamal,
I went through GMIT table and found GM Value type '99' is for Expenses/Amounts. I found Sponsor class and sponsored program here. Can you also suggest how to infer a particular sponsor class is or Expense and some for Revenues.
Also going through help portal i learned "Sponsored classes are used to group expenses and revenues together by type of financial transaction to satisfy a sponsor’s reporting requirements."
Please suggest.
Thanks

The Sponsored class type shows whether it is for revenue or expense. The overall concepts of Grants Management are explained in the ERP documentation under Public Sector Management (PSM).
