Hello, when I have 3 reports open, when I change context in one report, the context in second report changes automatically. I know I can lock it, but i really dont want to lock it. I just want the context to be local, in other words ,when I have two reports open, and I change context in one report from plan to actual, the second one shouldnt switch. thanks.

Hi Manny,

Context is for the entire EPM addin and not for only one report. If you want something specific to one report, then you should have it in the page axis.

Hope this helps.

Hi Manny,

You can achieve something close to this requirement by keeping only general dimensions (e.g. Category, Scenario, Time) in the EPM Context and specific ones in the report itself.

The specific dimensions could be set in the Page Axis, as Nilanjan mentioned, in hard-coded prompts (combo boxes), or you could combine both approaches. Just keep in mind that whatever has been set in the EPM Context will change according to each report.

Regards,

C.
