DS41 Installation error : INS00140

Dear All,
When i am trying to install DS 4.1  on Windows XP, I am getting error" THE PRODUCT KEY CODE IS INVALID : INS00140".
 
All prerequisites during the installation are ok but unfortunately I get the error INS00140.... I use Administrator user to install the software... Any Idea ?

Hi guys,

Me too face the same issue. Even after applying the correct license key, system was not accepting the key as a valid one.

Faced the same issue with different systems of users (not with all).

I think the issue is with system registery as doing registery edit (regedit) or a system format worked for us.

Hi Team ,

I am installing the Data services designer & it is prompting for the Product Key.

Could you please confirm if this will be the same key which we used while installing the Data Services Server components.

Hi Michael,

Please check the Dashboards License key that you have entered in Dashboard Design for recheck you can also use the "temporary license key" that you will get from SAP Market place.
